All the training we get on this subject and it still happens too often. Most of the time out of nowhere, like you would never think that person would do such a thing. Hope this video brings awareness for people to not be a butthole to each other and to spread (tough) love. Also to ones going through rough times and contemplating sewer slide, time heals everything.

Marines are finding out that they can do better in life outside the military. I’ve come to learn and realize not all but a good amount of Marines that are still in is because they seek validation from superiors, they fear of getting out because they are no longer in a “power” position. I personally work with a retired Air Force guy who was a E8. He talks about his “days” but the reality is he’s no longer in the position who he once was. It clearly hurts his ego.

Nichols was my best drill instructor! I knew right away from day one during our drill instructor indoc that this guy was special! It makes me immensely happy he is still out there contributing and doing great things!
